These terms govern your use of PerkMath: the calculator at perkmath.com, the app at app.perkmath.com, the monthly PerkMath email, and the PerkMath connector for AI assistants (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these terms.
PerkMath estimates what credit cards are worth to you, tracks the statement credits on your cards, and reminds you about credits before they expire. The calculator and the connector work from the cards and spending you describe. The app can also analyze financial data you choose to connect through Plaid.
PerkMath provides informational estimates. Card benefits change often, and our card data, calculations and reminders may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. PerkMath is not financial, tax, or legal advice, and it doesn't recommend that you apply for, keep or cancel any card. Always check credit amounts, terms, and expiration dates with your card issuer before relying on them. PerkMath is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any card issuer or bank.
You can use PerkMath inside AI assistants such as Meta Muse, Claude and ChatGPT. The assistant, not PerkMath, decides how to phrase what it tells you and when to call PerkMath, and it may summarize or misstate our results. Reminders you ask the assistant to set are created and delivered by the assistant, not by PerkMath. The assistant platform's own terms also apply to your use of it. PerkMath isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any assistant platform.
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. If you create an app account, you're responsible for activity under it and for keeping your login secure. App sign-in is provided by Clerk.
You may connect financial institutions through Plaid. You authorize us to retrieve read-only data for the accounts you select, solely to provide the Service. See our Privacy Policy. Your bank credentials are entered only within Plaid and are never seen by PerkMath.
Don't misuse the Service, attempt to access other users' data, disrupt or reverse-engineer it, send automated requests at a volume that burdens it, sign up email addresses that aren't yours, or use it unlawfully. We may rate-limit or block traffic that does.
The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any estimate is accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PerkMath is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any lost benefits, credits, or value, arising from your use of the Service.
You may stop using the Service, unsubscribe, or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for violation of these terms, and we may change or discontinue any part of the Service.
We may update these terms; we'll post changes here and update the date above.
